As Addingham Memorial Hall is not available for us on the 3rd Sunday in February, we have to move venue. This year we are re-locating to The Clarke Foley Centre, Cunliffe Road, Ilkley, West Yorkshire, LS29 9DZ. It is over the road from the main car park in the centre of Ilkley, but be aware that it is no longer free to park there after 6pm. There is some free on street parking in the area around the venue after 6pm.
Also, we will have no access to a supply of drinking water, as we do in Addingham, so please remember to bring a drink with you.
No membership is required, but you can opt to join the mailing list to get reminders of the next meeting and notifications of anything unusual. For requesting inclusion in the mailing list or any other enquiry, please use the Contact page.
Entrance for the regular monthly dances is £5 per person.
The monthly dances feature:
- Live music from "Beneath The Clock" band.
- Two callers (and sometimes more) take turns to call dances throughout the evening
- Dances from Yorkshire, England, Scotland, Ireland, Europe and beyond
- Everyone is welcome and you don’t need to bring a partner, there’s always someone to dance with!
- Occasionally we have a "Family Ceilidh", with earlier times, children welcome and admitted free of charge.
There is no bar but you are welcome to bring your own drinks. Water and glasses will be provided.
In case you didn't know, Addingham is a village in Wharfedale, between Ilkley and Skipton on the south edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
