UPDATE 2
As the special New Year Ceilidh on the 12th has been cancelled we have decided to keep the dancing going by holding a normal ceilidh club meeting on 19th January. The Memorial Hall has been booked for that evening so we are using the Methodist Church Hall,- 8 School Ln, Addingham, Ilkley LS29 0JF - which can be found on the corner of School Lane & Chapel Street.
No membership is required, but you can opt to join the mailing list to get reminders of the next meeting and notifications of anything unusual. To request inclusion in the mailing list, please use the Contact page.
Entrance for the regular monthly dances is £5 per person.
The monthly dances feature:
- Live music from "Beneath The Clock" band.
- Two callers (and sometimes more) take turns to call dances throughout the evening
- Dances from Yorkshire, England, Scotland, Ireland, Europe and beyond
- Everyone is welcome and you don’t need to bring a partner, there’s always someone to dance with!
- Occasionally we have a "Family Ceilidh", with earlier times, children welcome and admitted free of charge.
There is no bar but you are welcome to bring your own drinks. Water and glasses will be provided.
In case you didn't know, Addingham is a village in Wharfedale, between Ilkley and Skipton on the south edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
